MINDENMINES-Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bath-Nayor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, Kan., for Orville Ray Mitchell, 63, Mindenmines, who died Friday, May 3, 2013, at his home. Walter Simpson officiated. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Troy Mitchell, Mindenmines; two daughters, Michelle Little, Warrensburg and Regina Moritz, Springfield; a brother, Ernest Mitchell, Grove, Okla., three sisters, Sharon Pryor and Doris Bartlett, both of Pittsburg, Kan. and Brenda Prince, Arma, Kan.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister and two grandchildren.

Mr. Mitchell was born Nov. 16, 1949, to Robert Lee and Elsie Adlene (Robarts) Mitchell.

He was a veteran of Vietnam.

He was a welder for Seeburg muffler shop in North Kansas City, Mo.
