JOPLIN-Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Golden City for Jeanne L. Lingle, 89, Joplin, who died Friday, May 17, 2013, at Spring River Christian Village.
Arrangements were under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include sons Mark and Thelma Lingle, California, Leonard and Cynthia Lingle, Carl Junction, John Lingle and Harold Robert Lingle, both of Missouri; daughters Patricia and John Oglesbee, Idabel, Okla., Gloria George, Carthage and Linda Lingle, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Lingle, Joplin, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lingle.
Mrs. Lingle was born Sept. 28, 1923, to John and Bessie Root. She was a homemaker and also had worked as a school crossing guard and attended the Church of the Nazarene in Carthage.
She married Warren Lingle. He preceded her in death.
