KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Services will be held at 12 noon Monday at Floral Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Mo. for Eula Anita French, 62, Kansas City, Mo., who died at 3:58 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.

Survivors include her husband, Steven B. French, of the home; two sons, Ryan Lee Jones and wife Melanie, Liberal, and Christopher Joseph Jones and wife Becci, Lamar; two daughters, Teresa Anna Jones and fiancée Timothy Todd, and Lisa Rene Villarreal and husband Jason, all of Independence; 11 grandchildren, Nathan, Kadi, Wyatt, Sara, Christian and Cheyenne Jones, Seth and Gage Trussell, Kayla, Miah and Xavier Villarreal and Christopher, Tiffani and Cory Lear; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Marie French, Clute, Texas; a brother, Robert “Bobby” Cook, Jr., Kansas City, Mo., and a sister, Robyn Finney and Allen O’Hare, Independence.
She was preceded in death by he parents, Robert Edward Cook and Alma May Jackson.
Mrs. French was born Oct. 9, 1951, in Kansas City, Mo. She attended grade school in Leeds and graduated from East High School in Kansas City, Mo. She had worked at Blue Cross-Blue Shield for 27 years in the processing department.
She was previously married to Danny Lee Jones and they had four children. She married Steven French on July 10, 2004, in Kansas City, Mo., and they bought a house in Sheldon in 2007. She attended church in Sheldon.
