FRANKIE L. WILKINSON

GREENFIELD-Military committal honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, at the Springfield Veterans Cemetery for Frankie L. Wilkinson, 66, formerly of Greenfield, who died Saturday, June 1, 2013, in Wichita, Kan.
Arrangements are under the direction of DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary in Wichita, Kan.

Survivors include two daughters, Annie Morris and husband Patrick, Rose Hill, Kan., and Becky Wilkinson, Liberal; two sons, Dale Wilkinson and wife Loretta, Irwin, and Steven Wilkinson, Liberal; several grandchildren including Anntonella Skyelynn Morris, Rose Hill, Kan.; a brother, Kenny Wilkinson, Greenfield, and a sister, Taleah Wilkinson, Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Wilkinson was born Feb. 4, 1947, in Lockwood, to Francis L. and Mary L. (Ingerham) Wilkinson. He was a corporal in the United States Marine Corps, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was wounded in action and received a Purple Heart. He also received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.
