LAMAR-A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home for John Robert Millirons, 62, Lamar, who died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Pastor Robb Hodson will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Millirons, of the home; his mother, Thelma Wright, Lamar; a brother, Tom Millirons, Milo; two stepbrothers, Darryl and Gregg Wright, both of Nevada; a step-sister, Gail Juane, Texas, and two granddaughtrs, Morgan and Kaitlynn King.
He was preceded in death by his father, “Joe” Millirons; a daughter, Kimberly Sue King and a grandson, Gavin King, who both died March 26, 2005.
Mr. Millirons was born Sept. 7, 1950, at Strong City, Kan., to Joseph William and Thelma May (Watchous) Millirons. He was a 1968 graduate of El Dorado Springs High School. Before retirement, he worked as a supervisor for MoDOT in Lamar. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church at Milo and most recently attended First Baptist Church in Lamar. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 2800, the Eagles, was a Shriner and enjoyed riding his Harley.
He married Teresa Lynn Wallace on Nov. 8, 1975, at Nevada.
