RURAL ORONOGO-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Daniel Funeral Home for Betty Rose Sisseck, 74, rural Oronogo, who died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, June 14, 2013. Burial will be in Nashville Cemetery. Pastor Larry Shumaker will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Providence Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and Janet Sisseck, Jasper, and Barry and Sarah Sisseck, Oronogo; a daughter, Kari and Joseph Saylor, Sheldon; a brother, Leslie Rolando, Nevada, and nine grandchildren, Doug, Audrey, Ivy, Kim, Aden, Kaleb, Brady, Bolton and Kennedy.
Mrs. Sisseck was born June 3, 1939, at Verdella, to Jesse H. and Shirley Louise (Spurling) Rolando. She was a 1957 graduate of Odessa (Texas) High School and then attended Bible College in Rock Island, Ill. She was a homemaker and had also worked at the Nelly Don Dress Factory in Nevada and later at Big Smith in Webb City and Carthage. She played the piano and accordion and was learning to play the banjo. She attended New Providence Baptist Church in Oronogo.
She married Phillip Wayne Sisseck on Oct. 8, 1966, at Nevada, Mo. He died Sept. 14, 2002.
