JASPER-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel for Clifford Young, 81, Jasper, who died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at his home outside of Jasper. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carthage Shrine Burn Crew, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Young, of the home; three daughters, Brenda Felts and husband Jim, Lamar, Linda Parker, Dighton, Kan., and Lisa Overman and husband Scott, Columbus, Kan.; a son-in-law, Bob Gastel; two sisters, Nadine MacNaughtion, Wilmington, Ohio and Geraldine Bunn, Jasper; eight grandsons and six granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Young in September of 2012; a daughter, Carol Gastel in February of 2005 and a brother, Charles Young.
Mr. Young was born Jan. 4, 1932, in Jasper County, to Herman and Florence Young. He was a lifetime Jasper resident. He worked for W.R. Grace for 34 years and was a lifetime farmer. He accepted the Lord at Mt. Moriah Church.
He married Lois Wilson on Feb. 10, 1952, at Mt. Moriah Methodist Church.
