CHANA, Ill.- Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Cemetery in Lamar, Mo. for Floya Don Trout Hawkins, 85, Chana, who died Monday, July 29, 2013, after a long illness.
Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Floya Lynn Hawkins, Chana; two sons, Don Hawkins and wife Lori, Sycamore, Ill. and Richard Hawkins and wife Vicki, Orange Park, Fla.; six grandchildren, Garret, Marley, Katelynn, Allison, Chloe and Giger, and a sister, Nellie Henson, Sacramento, Calif.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.
Mrs. Hawkins was born Feb. 22, 1928, in Lamar, to Lawrence E. and Alta Rose (Brown) Trout. She was a 1945 graduate of Lamar High School. She was an avid spinner, knitter and weaver. She was a member of Four Seasons Spinners and Dyers, as well as Illinois Prairie Spinners for many years. She also raised her own wool to spin into yarn.
She married Mason Richard Hawkins on June 26, 1948. He preceded her in death.
