LAMAR-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Lamar First Christian Church for Linda Gail Milligan, 68, Lamar, who died Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital in Carthage. Mike Gage will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.


Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.


Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.


Memorial contributions may be made to the Milligan family, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; three sons, Karl Linn Lehmann, Nevada, Robert Dale Lehmann, Nevada and Dustin DShane Milligan, Webb City; a stepdaughter, Carrie Sue and Roy Myers, Jerico Springs; three brothers, Bobby and Debbie Adams, Nevada, Barry and Joyce Bise, Butler and Randy and Lynn Bise, Blue Springs; two sisters, Terri and Danny McDaniel, Kokomo, Ind. and Wendy Neider, Rich Hill, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Darrel Dean Lehmann; a brother, Dale Lee Adams, and a sister, Sandy Boyles.


Mrs. Milligan was born Aug. 24, 1944, at Topeka, Kan., to Edward Bise and Juanita Bise Adams. She had worked as a CNA and a Med Tech most recently at Bristol Manor Residential Care in Lamar and at Barton County Memorial Hospital. On November 14, 1999 she was baptized at Lamar First Christian Church. She was a volunteer for Relay For Life and volunteered in the office at the First Christian Church.


She married Lawrence Ray Milligan on Jan. 19, 1970.
