JOPLIN-A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the Barton City Cemetery near Liberal for Delores Alene Rogers, 77, Joplin, who died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at her home.
Arrangements were under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Barton City Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Kay (Rogers) Clements and her husband, Kevin L. Clements, Joplin; two grandsons, Garrett Dean Clements and Taylor Benjamin Clements, Joplin, and a sister, Sandra Kay (Thomas) Cignetti, Frontenac.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Joan (Thomas) Hackney.
Mrs. Rogers was born Sept. 15, 1935, to Paul Earlman and Bernice (Peterson) Thomas in Hannon. After she was born her family moved to and lived in Detroit, Mich., before returning to Liberal in her high school years. She worked as a beautician, an Army wife, put her husband through law school and was a homemaker. She was a follower of Christ and a member of the Daughters of American Revolution in Joplin.
She married Jack Dean Rogers on May 20, 1953, in Liberal. He preceded her in death.
