LAMAR-A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home for Arline Shaver, 68, Lamar, who died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Shaver of the home; a son, John Wesley Shaver, Lamar; two stepsons, Lee and Andrea Shaver Jr. and Joe and Connie Shaver, all of Lamar; three daughters, Mary Kathleen, Oklahoma, Rayma and David Walters, Lamar and Amy and Robert Sparks, Sheldon; two stepdaughters, Ivy and Michael Davis, Lockwood, and Debra Pugh, Neosho; four brothers, Richard and Liz Williams, Lamar, Bob and Rose Williams, Kansas City, Kan., John Williams, Kansas and Jake and Rose, Pittsburg, Kan.; three sisters, Lillian and Ron Hartman, Oklahoma, Althea and Harold VanDeMark, Lamar, and Vera and Dan Pagel, Strong City, Kan., and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Tracy Walker; an infant brother, Charles Ronald Williams and a brother, Jimmy Evans.
Mrs. Shaver was born July 8, 1945, at Hannon, to Ocee Olen and Naomi Violet (Hoover) Williams. In addition to being a homemaker, she had worked at Walmart and Pizza Hut, as well as being the bookkeeper for Shaver Repair Shop.
She married Gerald Lee Shaver Sr. on Aug. 10, 1972, in Lamar.
