PERKINS, Okla.-A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Greenfield Cemetery in Jerico Springs, Mo., for Raymond Luther Austin, 51, Perkins, who died suddenly on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Stillwater Medical Center. Pastor James Wright officiated, with full military honors conducted.
Arrangements were under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.
Pallbearers were Charles Richardson, Michael Spurgeon, Fiorino Baldelli, Greg Austin, Don Richards, Mike Richards, Alen Arlint and Dave Austin, and honorary pallbearer was Mike Bridges. Music was “I Can Only Imagine”.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Austin; children, Stacey Turowski, Michael Austin, Andrew Austin, Jessica Baker, Lauren Baker and RyLeigh Austin; grandchildren, Lucas Turowski, Ayvun Austin and Aldyn Austin; his mother, Darlene; brothers, Jim Austin and Mike Avery; a sister, Darla Arlint, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Austin, and a brother, Greg Austin.
Mr. Austin was born July 28, 1962, in Blytheville, Ark., to James and Darlene (Acock) Austin. He attended school in Stockton and El Dorado Springs, Mo. and Texarkana, Texas. He drove trucks over the road and for Rice’s for over 20 years and was looking forward to the future in his new job, driving trucks for the oil industry in Oklahoma.
He was a member of the Apostolic Church.
He married Lisa Marie DeLargy on Dec. 12, 2003, in Ash Flat, Ark.
