JOPLIN-Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday for Alta Mae Stout, 91, Joplin, who died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013. Minister Kevin Reich officiated.
Music was “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder”. Pallbearers were Jacob Willis, Taylor Emery, Nicholas Emery, Cole Carver and Wyatt Stout. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Stout, III, Shane Stout, Jim Willis, Kevin Emery, Joseph Born and Matthew Griffitt.
Arrangements were under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include her children, Henry “JR” Stout and wife Sharon, Neosho, Oda Mae Woody, Forsythe, and Kathy Griffitt and husband Rick, Lamar; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a brother, Harvey VanBuren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, June Lehr and three brothers, Floyd, Glen and Earl VanBuren.
Mrs. Stout was born May 5, 1922, in Norton, Kan., to Leonard and Jenny VanBuren. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
She married Henry Oscar Stout in Arkansas. He preceded her in death.
