LAMAR-Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Margey E. Medlin, 87, Lamar, who died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. Dr. Mark Turnbaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brent Stump, Aaron Stump, Doyle Lawrence, Gene Davis, Lonnie Frieden and Kevin Little. Honorary pallbearer is John Gilkey.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Medlin, of the home; a daughter, Debbie Stump and husband Dale; three grandchildren, Stacey, Brent and Aaron Stump, and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Danyka Finley.
Mrs. Medlin was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Schaller, Iowa, to Clement and Gertrude (Bennett) Findley. She was a graduate of Lamar High School and attended college in Springfield. She was a dental assistant for the VA hospital in Chicago, Ill., and for more than one local dentist. She managed the state license office in Lamar for many years and owned more than one business with her husband, the most notable being the Handy Stop. She was a member of Lamar United Methodist Church.
She married Robert Medlin on Dec. 25, 1948, in Lamar.
