LAMAR-Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Ronald Lee Divine, 75, Lamar, who died Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Rev. Robb Hodson and Minister Rob Wilson officiated. Burial, with full military honors, was in Memory Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Denzil Divine, of the home; three sons, Matthew Scott Divine and wife Lori, Joplin, Kevin Wayne and wife Elizabeth, Waxhaw, N.C. and Anthony C. Divine and wife Kathy, Early, Texas; grandchildren, Zack, Brandon, Kaitlynn, Amelia, Lexie and Jenna; stepgrandson, Joey Muninger; stepgranddaughter, Amanda Magana and husband Rob; stepgreat-granddaughter, Adilyn Jace Magana; a brother, Gary Wayne Divine and wife Cheryl, Windsor and his faithful dog, Toby.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Divine was born July 6, 1938, in Lamar, to Audrey Cornelius “Cooney” and Opal Pauline (Hagins) Divine. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He had worked as a salesman in the insurance industry and had also worked for Thorco, was a machinist at Welco, an aircraft factory in Kansas, sold books and worked for printing companies.
He loved his family , serving as a scout leader for his boys and coaching t-ball. He attended Lamar First Baptist Church and was a member of Lamar First Christian Church.
