WILLARD-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W. State EE (Division, in Springfield, for June Chorice, 88, Willard, who died Monday, April 14, 2014, surrounded by family. Minister Ray Sullins will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include her children, Ken Chorice and wife Marsha, Bartlett, Tenn., Kathy Shatto, Springfield, Randy Chorice and wife Cheryl, Paola, Kan., R.D. Chorice and wife Julie, Springfield, Becky Fancer and husband Kyle, Willard and Fawn Schenk and husband Jon, Lebanon; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Chorice, Olathe, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Talton, Larue, Dub and Ray Lemmons and four sisters, Daisy Hudson, Lena Lindsey, Lima Spikes and Katherine Lindsey.
Mrs. Chorice was born June 4, 1925, in Pocahontas, Ariz., to Kizzie Slayton and A.W. Lemmons. She loved to cook, sew and thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends. She became a Christian at a young age and was a member of Kansas Expressway Church of Christ.
She married Ralph Chorice on Oct. 20, 1944. He died Sept. 19, 2006.
