Spurgeon signs to run track at Central Methodist

Jasper High School Class of 2020 graduate Keagan Spurgeon recently signed with Central Methodist University. Although he didn't get to run his final year of track in high school, he still has big plans to continue on in college.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower.
