CARTHAGE- A private family burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar for Wanda Ilean Johnsrud, 92, Carthage, who died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, at St. Luke’s Nursing Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include two sons, Ron Hornbeck and wife Mildred, Carthage and Rick Hornbeck and wife Sari, Lamar; three daughters, Kathy Pettingill and husband David, Las Vegas, Nevada, Patti Marten, Woodland, Calif. and Dessie Felder and husband Bob, Reno, Nevada; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Hooton; one sister, Hazel Richardson and a daughter, Sherry Brown.

Mrs. Johnsrud was born March 13, 1928, in Stockton, to Demus and Edna (Kennedy) Hooten. She was a mother and a homemaker.
