Moderna COVID-19 vaccine arrives at CMH

BOLIVAR- The first doses of COVID-19 vaccine arrived December 21 at Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar.
According to Mariah Hollabaugh, PharmD, CMH system pharmacy director, 700 doses of Moderna vaccine will be administered to front-line hospital and long-term care staff and long-term care residents over the next two weeks. The first doses of the vaccine was given Tuesday morning, Dec. 22.
“We anticipate additional doses for CMH employees and long-term care residents arriving in the days and weeks ahead,” says Hollabaugh.
The Moderna vaccine is a two-shot vaccine with the second dose given in 28 days.
