WEBB CITY- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home for Amy Elizabeth Schenck, 39, Webb City, who died Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, at South City Hospital in St. Louis. Gary Vinson will officiate. Private burial was follow at Heaven’s Gate Cemetery in Golden City, with family serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home chapel in Webb City.

She married Steven Schenck on June 14, 2014 and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Breanna and Cali Butcher; two stepdaughters, Samantha and Jayden Schenck; her father, John Wingert and wife Paula; a brother, Bryan Wingert and her maternal grandmother, Clarice Trimble, as well as a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela and a brother, Brandon Gilmore.

Mrs. Schenck was born April 20, 1982, in Nevada, Mo., to John and Pamela Jean (LaFon) Wingert. She was raised in Golden City and was a 2000 graduate of Golden City High School.

She had resided in Webb City for the last 20 years and had worked for the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier for nearly 20 years. She attended worship services at Bible Believers Baptist Church in Carterville. She enjoyed baking, reading and time spent with her family and friends.
