GROVE, Okla.- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Greenfield Funeral Chapel for Rodney Eugene Walters, 62, Grove, who died Monday, Nov. 15, 2021.
Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Survivors include his daughter, Sierra Hinkle and her husband Colby Hinkle and beloved grandpup, Opie Hinkle, Broken Arrow; a sister, Anissa Walters Long and nephew Caleb Long, Webb City, Mo.; his best friend, Jim Tucker and wife Rita Tucker and their children, Jeremy and Vanessa, Grove and his uncle and aunt, Orrin and Agnes Shaw, Lockwood, Mo.
Mr. Walters was born June 2, 1959, in Kansas City, Mo., to Carl E. and Lila (Shaw) Walters. He moved to Golden City, Mo. in the second grade and remained a Golden City Eagle until his graduation in 1978. He went on to further his education at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg Kan., where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Technology in 1985.
He went on to work for Thorco Industries in Lamar, Mo., where he worked in quality control. Later in life he moved to Grove to enjoy retirement and fishing. He also enjoyed grilling and cooking, which everyone would agree he was wonderful at.
