TigerSharks compete at Siloam Springs, Ark.

Five members of the Lamar TigerSharks competed at the Evan Thomas Swim Invitational in Siloam Springs, Ark. on June 11. The team, accompanied by Assistant Coach Kaitlyn Davis, earned multiple Best Times, led by Jorie Dunham (11-12 Girls) who had three PR’s and cut 14.6 seconds. Ryan Davis (15-18 Boys) was the team’s top point scorer, placing in all three of his individual events.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Sixth grade girls earn Kansas State Championship
Lockwood High School cheerleaders Kalsee Garoutte, Rachel Baugh and Mekenzi Weimer recently received Academic All-State honors. To receive Academic All-State for cheer, one must be a varsity cheerleader, have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.5, be in the top 20 percent of their class and be a current senior, junior or sophomore.
