LAS CRUCES, NM- Private services were held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for Ruth Irene (Jungmann) Filosa, who died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, in Las Cruces. Interment followed at Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery in Truth or Consequences.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony J. Filosa; five sons, Mark and wife Ann, John and wife Cathaleen, Matthew and wife Mary Ellen, Luke and wife Karen and Philip and wife Meegan; sisters, Doris Woods and Linda Gerke; brothers, Carl Jungmann and wife Mary and Paul Jungmann and wife Marilyn; 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Edith Filosa Brown and a sister, Emily Clements.

Mrs. Filosa was born June 28, 1934, in Lamar, Mo. She was a Registered Nurse, having graduated from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing in Pittsburg, Kan., in 1955.
