LIBERAL- Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Christian Church in Liberal for Judy Elizabeth Weaver, 75, Liberal, who died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Lamar. Burial will follow in Worsley Cemetery in Bronaugh.
Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to Bronaugh Angel Closet in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include one daughter, Jody Lindsey and husband Frank, Lamar; one brother, Ed Weaver and wife Linda, Liberal; a sister in law, Edith Weaver; four grandchildren, Daniel Henegar and wife Allie, Carl Junction, Jordan Dickey and husband Chance, Liberal, Keagan Hubbard and wife Bo, Carl Junction and Michaela Mosier, Liberal; six great-grandchildren, Easton and Archer Dickey, Liberal, Camden, Kenzlee and Karsyn Hubbard, Carl Junction and Aidan Mosier, Liberal; an aunt, Pauline Davidson, Liberal; a longtime friend, Chip Douglas and extended Weaver family.
She was preceded in death by a brother, David Weaver.
Mrs. Weaver was born Sept. 8, 1945, in Liberal, to Ward and Delilah Ione (Friend) Weaver. She was a 1963 graduate of Liberal High School. She married Curt Cavanaugh on Feb. 22, 1967 and together they had one daughter and later divorced.
She had worked at Blue Willow Cafe, Key Work Clothes and retired as a secretary for the State Hospital in Nevada, Mo. She loved her farm, where she raised quarter horses, had exotic birds, llamas, emus and a talking parrot. She also liked to play the guitar and sing and loved taking her grandkids hunting and fishing.
