Lamar Sophomore linebacker No. 24 Logan Crockett makes the tackle on this fullback. The Tigers dominated on both sides of the ball in their 33-0 victory over the Mountaineers. Mt. Vernon has lost nine straight games to the Tigers. Lamar will host Butler Friday evening for homecoming.

The Tigers had one final shot with 2.3 seconds remaining but, the Trojans defense came through again for the 68-66 victory. Playing in their final game as a Tiger were Ian Ngugi, Chase Querry, Khiler Nance and Trace Wooldridge.

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower.
