City buildings to remain closed

The City of Lamar is dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible to residents, visitors and staff. In order to maintain services, they are working to maintain a healthy and safe environment.

The decision has been made for the lobby of city hall, the police department and other outlaying facilities to remain closed to the public for the remainder of the year. This decision will be re-evaluated in the following weeks.

The city is still open and conducting normal business. Customers are encouraged to use the drop box on the front of city hall for payments. The drive-thru and phone lines are staffed during normal business hours and information can also be found on the city’s website at www.cityoflamar.org.

The city offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 24 and 25, for the Christmas holiday.
