LAMAR- A private service will be held for Lois Jean Stacy, 67, Lamar, who died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Survivors include her children, Tonya Dickerson and husband Carey, Sparta, Steven Mitts and wife Michelle, Galena, Kan., Tim Mitts, Lamar and Theodore Stacy, Farmington; a brother, Charles Burr and wife Pat, Lamar and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Ivan and Butch Burr.

Mrs. Stacy was born March 27, 1953, in Coffeyville, Kan., to Dewayne “Dewey” and June (Owens) Burr. She lived in Coffeyville for about eight years before moving to Lamar. She was known for having a big heart and caring for people. She worked in local nursing homes in the area and then went to work as a cook at the Blue Top for about 15 years.

She lived for Chief's football, enjoyed wrestling and NASCAR racing, especially No. 3, Dale Earnhardt Sr. She enjoyed going to church at Cornerstone Baptist Church and was always ready for a barbecue. Her biggest love, that brought her the most joy, was her family and grandchildren.
