KATHLEEN BARY

JOPLIN- A memorial service will be held at a later date for Kathleen Ann Bary, 70, Joplin, who died Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Mercy of Joplin. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

Survivors include her son, Skyler McLane and wife Katie, Warner Robins, Ga.; three grandchildren; brothers, David Bary and wife Linda, Grand Prairie, Texas and John Bary and wife Marcia, Lamar and a sister, Sandy Bary, Joplin.

Mrs. Bary was born Dec. 10, 1950, in Lamar, to Joseph Arthur Bary and Louise Evelyn (Owen) Bary. She grew up in Lamar and graduated from Lamar High School. She then moved to Kansas City where she did clerical work before moving to Colorado, where she worked for Denver Department of Public Works in the drafting department. She later moved to Bentonville, Ark. and went to work for Walmart in the distribution center, and later in Arlington, Texas, Waynesville, Mo. and finally moved to Joplin, where she retired from Walmart.
