Davis selected to receive P.E.O. Star Scholarship

Photo by These Moments by L Photography Lamar High School Senior Kaitlyn Davis has been selected to receive a P.E.O. Star Scholarship. Kaitlyn is the daughter of Matt and Elizabeth Davis and was sponsored by the local P.E.O. Chapter EP. Only 900 scholarships were awarded this year by the P.E.O. The P.E.O. Star Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide non-renewable $2500 scholarships to exceptional high school graduating women to attend accredited post-secondary educational institutions in the United States and Canada in the next academic year.

She plans on playing volleyball or basketball next year. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading, because both teachers make it a lot of fun while they teach.
