LAMAR-Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Daniel Funeral Home for Jerry Eugene Campbell, 79, Lamar, who died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Truman Healthcare Center of Lamar, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Kay; two daughters, Kaylynn Connell and husband Dean, Brixey and Cassie Miller and husband Brian, Lamar; one son, Camden Campbell, Leavenworth, Kan.; two brothers, Davey Campbell, Georgia and Kenny Campbell and wife Dixie, Joplin; six grandchildren, Eric Bouckaert and husband Justin, Arnold, Cabree Miller, Kaleb Miller and Chase Miller, all of Lamar and Dane Connell and Daniel Connell, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Brant, Adelyn and Teagan Bouckaert, all of Arnold and Makinley Miller, Lamar, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Campbell was born Jan. 2, 1936, at Joplin, to Alan Mitchell and Marguerite Fontella (Davis) Campbell. He graduated Joplin High School and served his country in the United States Air Force. After serving in the military, he married Wanda Kay Wilson on June 20, 1958, at Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin and together they reared three children. In 1971 he graduated MSSU with a Bachelor of Education.
He owned and operated several greenhouses and nurseries during his career, as well as working as a general contractor in Arkansas, building houses with his son. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and was a member of REACH Church in Carthage.
