SPRINGFIELD- Services will be held at 11 am. Saturday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Scott Anthony Musgrove, 50, Tulsa, who died Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to be made to the funeral expenses.

Survivors include his sister, Misty Marti and husband Andy, Lamar; nieces and nephews, Cooper, Drew and Hannidy Marti, Lamar and Zach Musgrove and Erika Steeby, Pittsburg, Kan.; his partner, Martina Austin and her daughter Lilly, Springfield; his aunt, Sari Hornbeck and husband Rick, Lamar and uncles, David Strong and wife Christy, Lamar, Mick Strong and wife Pam, Ft. Smith, Ark. and Doyle Dunagan, Lamar, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Erik Musgrove.

Mr. Musgrove was born Dec. 2, 1970, in Lamar, Mo., to Peter and Shelley (Strong) Musgrove. He grew up in Lamar, Mo. and graduated from Lamar High School in 1989. He then moved to Tulsa, Okla. He attended Missouri Southern State University, graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. He worked in the four states area including O’Sullivan Industries in Lamar, Able Body in Pittsburg, Kan., Business Advantage in Lamar and Finley Engineering in Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas. At the time of his death he was living in Springfield and working as a machine operator at Timken Belts.

He loved animals and had a special affinity and fondness for the elderly, that he developed while his mother was working at a nursing home. He was an adventurous big kid who enjoyed making people laugh.
