Barton County 4-H Teen Leaders open Truman Day celebration

The Barton County 4-H Teen Leaders were honored to be a part of the Truman Day celebration on Saturday, May 8, as the 137th birthday of President Harry S Truman was observed. During the opening ceremonies, Kitty Sullins and Joy Krueth displayed the Missouri State Flag and the American Flag, in honor of the country. Andrew Shelton led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance and in closing, Kendall Krueth sang the National Anthem. The 4-H youth were proud to be a part of this historic day.
