YOU ARE HERE NOTIFIED, that a tax sale did occur on the below-described real estate, at the Barton County land tax sale on August 24, 2020. The property was purchased by either a Certificate of Purchase Holder, Purchaser of Third Offering, or County Trustee.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A tract commencing at the Southwest Corner of Humphrey’s Addition to the City of Lamar, Missouri, and running thence West about 230 feet, thence South 240 feet for a place of beginning, thence West 55 feet, thence South 160 feet, thence East 55 feet, thence North 160 feet to the place of beginning; being a part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section Twenty-five (25), in Township Thirty-two (32), of Range Thirty-one (31), Barton County, Missouri. Subject to all easements and agreements of record.

Publicly recorded deed of trust, lien, mortgage, lease, or claim with possible exception of Federal Tax Lien, ARE EXTINGUISHED ONCE A COLLECTOR’s OR TRUSTEE’s DEED IS ISSUED, assuming compliance with notification(s) to Lien and/or Claim holders is proven.

If you wish to retain your property or protect your interest, you need to contact Barton County Collector’s Office at phone number (417) 682-5881 within ONE YEAR from the date of sale for First and Second Offerings and NINETY DAYS for Third Offerings. They will instruct you as to the amount that you will need to pay to redeem said property.
