According to Barton County Health Department Administrator Joel Dermott, COVID case numbers bumped up last week as several cases were older and/or positive antibody cases, which indicates a previous positive case that is no longer active. Dermott stated, “If you net those numbers out, the week was about the same as the previous.”
To date there have been a total of 1446 cases in the county, with 18 active and 1406 recovered. A total of 22 deaths have been reported.
The total of new cases over the past seven days sits at 27.
