LAMAR- A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 10, at the home of Linda Pitts, 1100 Pine St., Golden City, for Vanessa Elaine Bishop, 64, Lamar, who died peacefully in her home on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021.

Survivors include two sons, Doug Harris and Colten Wilson, both of Lamar; a daughter, Macheala Wilson and Dale Brown, Lamar; two grandchildren, Chase and Jacklyn Brown, Lamar; two sisters, Dyann Elliston, Lamar and LoAnn Toney, Bentonville, Ark.; five nephews, Michael Toney, Grayson Henderson, Gage Tedlock, Milo McKinnis and Gannon Tedlock; eight nieces, Rebecca McKinnis and husband Darrell, Nicol Henderson and husband Josh, Kashia Baker and husband Jordan, Madeline McKinnis, Ashley Henderson, Hailey Henderson, Gabriella Tedlock and Gilliana Tedlock, plus aunts, uncles, many cousins and lots of extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Rosella Bishop.

Elaine was born June 18, 1957, in Lamar, to Jackie and Rosella Bishop. She was semi-retired and a full time Nana. She adored her grandchildren and all children she babysat with. She will be remembered for her laughter and contagious smile and the generosity of her big heart.
