Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A ribbon cutting, welcoming a new educational opportunity in the community, was held at the Drury GO Oakton Campus, located at the Oakton Church on South J Hwy., by the Barton County Chamber of Commerce at 12 noon on Thursday, Oct. 14. Many members of the community gathered to welcome them to the area.

The check presentation was held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5, at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
