Free COVID testing coming to Lamar

Seeds of Hope staffing agency will be opening up a drive-thru zero cost COVID testing location to be set up at the Lamar City Park Aquatic Center parking lot. Testing this week will be held Thursday and Friday Jan. 13 and 14, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and they will be back the following week on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Testing will be located on the inside of the swimming pool lobby, but those being tested will remain in theirs cars and the workers will come outside to get the necessary information and to help with the testing.

Once a building is obtained they will be up and running seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This is zero cost to the person being tested and will be an ongoing site.
