ROBERT EUGENE GRIFFITT

LOCKWOOD- Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Robert “Bobby” Eugene Griffitt, 67, Lockwood, who died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Lamar. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to the American Cancer Society or Three Rivers Hospice, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife Lorinda; one son, Aaron McClane; one daughter, Joy Leverich and husband Joe; three brothers, Billy Griffitt, Wayne Griffitt and wife Charlotte and Garry Griffitt; five grandchildren, Chase McClane and wife Katy, Brant McClane, Garrett McClane, Brooke McClane and Justin Weis and Karah McClane and two great-grandchildren, Paisley Weis and Austin McClane, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepson, John McClane.

Mr. Griffitt was born Jan. 15, 1955, in Lamar, to William Aaron Griffitt Sr. and Marie Adell (Demeaux) Griffitt. He was a 1974 graduate of Lamar High School. He married Lorinda Jane Allen on Oct. 26, 1991, in Lamar.

Mr. Griffitt had worked as a spot welder at Thorco and was a jack-of-all-trades. He loved camping and fishing.
