Ethan Forst, son of David and Kristina Forst, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Ethan likes his dogs, cooking, video games, nature, homeroom, sleeping in, his family and riding trails. He says he likes that the best was saved for the last Student of the Week.

Shiloh Wilkinson, daughter of TJ and Melissa Wilkinson, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. Shiloh enjoys drawing and reading in her spare time. She plans on playing volleyball or basketball next year. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies and Reading, because both teachers make it a lot of fun while they teach.

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower. Pictured are, left to right, Lamar Bank & Trust President Pat O’Neal, Barco Drive-In Theatre fundraiser director Landin Myers and representing the Plaza/Barco and Lamar Community Betterment, Scott Kelley.
