Lamar TigerSharks compete at Kraken Invitational

Pryor Brown experienced a break-out meet at the 2022 Kraken Invitational in Carthage on June 18 and 19. The TigerSharks team member earned four Best Times on his way to a victory in the 25 yard freestyle, four second place finishes and one fourth place finish. Pryor also won the 8&Under Boys High Point Runner-up Trophy.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State. Sixth grade girls earn Kansas State Championship
Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A total of $3600 was raised at the car and jeep show held Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Lamar Christian Church Parking lot, with proceeds to benefit the new Barco Drive-In screen tower.
