LOCKWOOD- Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Grove Cemetery for Cheryl “Sherry” Kay Queen, 68, Lockwood, who died Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at her home.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, at the Lockwood Christian Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lockwood Christian Church or Lockwood Christian Church Missionary Guild.

Survivors include two daughters, Tara Carrier and husband Harry and Tana Foster and husband Mike; one son, Daniel Queen and wife Leah; her mother, Leona (Weimer) Selvey; two brothers, Rick Weimer and wife Janice and Randy Weimer and wife Dixie; one sister, Debbie Perkins and husband Randy; her aunt and best friend, Beverly Blackwell and husband Clark; a brother-in-law, Mike Queen and wife Lesa; 12 grandchildren, Eric Carrier, Troy Carrier, Christian Foster, Noble Bruner and Karson, Grace Carrier and Noah, Gaege Queen, Damien Jordan, Emma Bronson, Camryn Foster, Haiden Queen, Page Beerly and Lauryn Queen and three great-grandchildren, Hailey Carrier, Lincoln Carrier and Ashton Carrier, and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennis Queen; her father, Danny Weimer; her father-in-law, Albert Queen and her mother-in-law, Leota Queen.

Mrs. Queen was born May 19, 1954, in Lockwood, to Danny and Leona (Litle) Weimer. She was a 1972 graduate of Lockwood High School. She married Lennis Queen on June 2, 1972, in Lockwood. She worked as a bookkeeper for Wholesale Supply Company in Lockwood. She was a member of the Lockwood Christian Church and the Lockwood Christian Church Missionary Guild. She was a talented pianist and had played many years at her church.
