Lamar Cross Country team earns conference championship

The Lamar Tiger Cross Country team traveled to Aurora on October 18, to participate in the Big 8 Conference meet. The boys team placed first and were named conference champions, having earned 61 points collectively. Coach Rodney Baldridge (bottom right) was named Boys Conference Coach of the Year.

Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow The Liberal High School student section came through big for their teams during the recent Tony Dubray Classic at Liberal. They had a lot to cheer about. The Lady Bulldogs won the tournament title with a victory over Pierce City. The boys won the consolation trophy by beating Northeast Arma.
