2022: 11-16 Liberal R-2 Notice of Filing

NOTICE OF FILING FOR LIBERAL R-II BOARD OF EDUCATION

Qualified applicants for the Liberal R-II Board of Education may file for office beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 and will continue during the district’s regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the school district’s central office is closed due to inclement weather. The Board of Education Office will also be closed during Christmas recess beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022.Filing will resume for one day on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., which is the end of the filing period for the April 2023 Election.

Filings take place in the Liberal R-II Schools Board/Superintendent Offie, Liberal Missouri. Filing shall be done with Wendy Rose – Bookkeeper or William Harvey – Superintendent. The names of qualified candidates will be placed on the ballot in order of filing. Any qualified candidates will be placed on the ballot in order of filing. Any questions regarding the qualifications of candidacy or how to submit candidacy information via certified mail should be directed to the Board/Superintendent Office. The terms of Chris Morrow, Christie Ulrich and Brian Williams will be expiring in April 2023. Three Board members will be election.
