MARY LOLLAR

THE COLONY, Texas- Interment will be held in the IOOF Cemetery in Golden City for Mary Gayle (Kentner) Lollar, 97, who died in the early hours of December 26, 2022.

Survivors include her brother, Gary Kentner and a son, Rex O. Lollar and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Philip O. Lollar and her daughter, Emily Gayle Lollar.

Mrs. Lollar was born June 22, 1925, on the family farm west of Golden City, Mo., the second child of Lyman Wakefield and Evalyn Kentner. She had an older brother, Lyman Wakefield Kentner, Jr., two younger brothers, Jacob Cyrus Kentner and Gary Ohler Kentner and younger sisters, Erma Lee McGuire, Phyllis Jean McGuire, Alda Joan Tierney and Martha Maxwell.

Mrs. Lollar was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of The Eastern Star. She was a grandmother of five, great-grandmother of eight and great-great-grandmother of nine.

She will be greatly missed by her family, loved ones and all who knew her.
