Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow Liberal hosted the 50th Annual Tony Dubray Tournament last week. The Lady Bulldogs finished second. The boys dropped the third place game to Colgan. Here junior Isaac Edwards puts up a shot in Liberal's first round win over Pierce City. Matt Boehne hit a three pointer as time was running down in the contest to secure the victory.

The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State.
