GOLDEN CITY- Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at Pennsboro Cemetery for John Willis Daigh, 75, Golden City, who died peacefully in his home on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 5:56 p.m., with his daughter and granddaughters by his side.

Finger foods will follow, with reminiscing at the Pennsboro church.

Cremation services are under the direction of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Daigh Prestage; his grandkids, Erica, Jacob, Marissa and Alex; one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lynn Daigh; one sister, Joan Lewis and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia; one daughter, Heather Daigh White; one son, Jacob Wendell Daigh; his parents and an older brother.

Mr. Daigh was born Dec. 22, 1947, in Lockwood. No words can describe what a great dad, papa and friend he was. He loved farming, fishing, gardening and just being outside.
