THOMAS “BILL” WILLIAM LOWRY

BLUE SPRINGS- Thomas "Bill" William Lowry, 92, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at his home in Blue Springs, MO. He was born July 11, 1930 to Clarence and Mabel (Weinstein) Lowry in Golden City, MO. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Ziegler on March 21, 1950 and they were married for 65 years, until Barbara passed away in 2015.

After raising his family and operating his service station business in Blue Springs, MO, Bill and his wife moved back to Golden City and he lived there from 1998 until 2020.  He was an active member of the Golden City Lions Club and owned and operated Lowry's Auto Service in downtown Golden City.

Bill will be cremated per his wishes and buried next to his wife in Golden City, MO. His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life from 5:00 - 8:30 PM on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Grain Valley Community Center, 13 N. Main St., Grain Valley, MO 64029.
