The 10th Street Community Farmers’ Market kicked off the Memorial Day weekend with lunch at the market on Saturday, May 27. Freshly grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, beans, chips and a drink were offered to those attending the market at no cost; however, donations were being taken in order for the market to be able to hold events such as this again. Various vendors, including Desserts First, Easy Peasy – Healthy, Homemade Meals, Maxine Rader, Queen’s Family Farm, Shelly’s Jelly and More, Billy and Willis Strong and Trees and Twigs, were set up throughout the morning. Be sure to watch their facebook page at Tenth Street Community Farmers Market to see what vendors will be available from week to week, along with any other events that might take place during the market. They look forward to seeing you there.
