Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow The 2023 Liberal High School baseball team was crowned district champs after defeating Lockwood 17-2 at Joplin High School. The Bulldogs went on to win an exciting contest at Billings to claim the sectional title. They came up just short in the quarterfinal against eventual state champs, St. Elizabeth.
