Tigers earn 17th straight district crown
Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow The Lockwood Tigers have secured a district title after earning the one-seed and a first round bye. They defeated Liberal 70-0 in the semifinal and took down Greenfield 51-8 Friday for the title. They've won 10 in a row after losing their opener to Archie. They will have a chance to avenge that loss Saturday when they travel to Archie. In week one the Whirlwinds won 48-38. Here Oliver Boehne looks for running room as the rain fell late the win over Liberal. Also pictured is Drew Pittsenbarger (No. 6).
